Vols. I + II (of 4) bound together. clii, 283pp; 415pp. Containing the Odes, Epodes, and Carmen Saeculare as well as much introductory and editorial material. Title pages in red and black, some woodcut initials and decorative headpieces. With the engraved bookplate of the "Earl of Roden K S.P.," presumably Robert Jocelyn, the first Earl of Roden and also with the ownership signature of Colin N. Edmonson. The old leather binding is quite worn, top board detached. Title page of the first volume is browned, else internally a near very good copy, with only minor scattered light foxing
